Dragon Ball Z Games, also known as DBZ Games, are a series of collectible card games based on the Dragon Ball franchise. The first game in the series was released in Japan in February 1996 by Bandai, and the first English version was released in North America in November 1998 by Irwin Toys.

Gameplay

Dragon Ball Z Games are played with a deck of cards that represent the various characters, attacks, and abilities seen in the Dragon Ball universe. The objective of the game is to reduce your opponent's life points to zero. Players can also win by either KO-ing all of their opponent's characters, or by forcing their opponent to deck out (run out of cards).
