The first quadrant is the church, the second quadrant is the town square, the third quadrant is the cemetery, and the fourth quadrant is the desert. Players start the game in the church. They can move to any other space on the board, but must stop on the space that Jesse Custer is on. If Jesse Custer is not on the board, then the player must move to the space where he was last seen. If a player is on the same space as Jesse Custer, then they can attempt to kill him. Players can also attempt to kill Jesse Custer from a distance. They can do this by playing cards that represent different weapons. These cards can be played on any space on the board, but the player must be on a space adjacent to the space where Jesse Custer is. The game ends when one player either kills Jesse Custer or drives him out of town. The player who kills Jesse Custer wins the game.
