In Resistance: Set of Ingress, players take on the role of either the Resistance or the Empire, fighting for control of the planet Alderaan. The Resistance is a ragtag group of rebels fighting against the tyranny of the Empire, while the Empire is a massive, well-organized force that seeks to crush the Resistance. The game is played over a series of rounds, with each player taking turns playing cards from their hand. The goal of the game is to either eliminate all of the opposing players, or to achieve a specific objective. The game can be played with either 2 or 4 players.

Each player has a hand of cards, which they will use to fight for control of the planet Alderaan.
